After spending nearly ten years in Miami, Florida, my wife Ann and I decided it was time to come home to Columbus, OH where I could begin my law practice again and utilize my vast experience in many areas of law to serve clients in need of experienced and compassionate legal representation.  During the ten years I was in Florida, I worked as an in-house attorney for two major title insurance underwriters as well as real estate developers and investors.  I have worked on hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial, investment and development transactions in several capacities including title examination, resolution of title issues, purchase contract negotiating and drafting, leases, financing, closing matters, construction and development.  I have also assisted individuals with the purchase and sale of residential real estate and am eager to work hand in hand with realtors throughout the home buying process, whether it is a primary residence or an investment property.  I am an approved attorney for Ohio Bar Title which is a subsidiary of First American Title Company and as such, can handle all title insurance and closing related matters. 

I have also become very familiar with creating business entities including limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, joint ventures, profit and non-profit corporations and the governance and taxation issues associated therewith.  I sat on the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations while in Florida as well.  I look forward to serving the individual or small business owner and real estate developer/investor with respect to all of their needs.  I am there to assist with every business and real estate matter that arises.  I am also there when things don’t always go as smoothly as planned and can represent parties involved in business and real estate disputes including breach of contract, boundary disputes, title claims, negligence, mechanic’s liens, and fraud to name a few.

In addition to my business and real estate expertise, I have gained significant experience with respect to estate planning and probate matters.  I will be available to help individuals and couples with drafting their wills, trusts, powers of attorney and living wills, and I offer very competitive flat fees for my estate planning and probate services.  I also help those who have lost a loved one with all probate matters including probate of will, intestate and insolvent estates, guardianship, and representation of parties to will contests or other probate proceedings.

It is wonderful to be back in the Buckeye State with my wonderful wife of twenty years Ann at the same house we have lived in for years.  I very much missed helping those in need of my services and I am looking forward to serving you again!
